How Prithu Homes replaced a market-leading CRM and built their entire digital backbone — on one platform
One of NCR's largest construction companies replaced a well-known commercial CRM with a fully custom, end-to-end digital ecosystem — covering sales, project management, customer portal, and staff training — all on one connected Microsoft-backed platform.

What they were dealing with
Their existing CRM wasn't built for how they worked
Existing market-leading CRM was rigid — processes had to be bent to fit the software, not the other way around
No connection between sales and project delivery — data had to be manually re-entered after a deal closed
Customers had no visibility into their unit's construction progress — queries came through calls and emails
Staff training was done manually with no tracking, no certifications, and no consistency across teams
Data scattered across multiple disconnected tools — no single source of truth for management
High manual workload for coordination between sales, projects, finance, and site teams
The transformation journey
All four systems built on one Microsoft Power Platform & Azure foundation
Phase 01 — The Foundation
Custom CRM replacing a market leader
Prithu Homes was running a well-known commercial CRM — but it forced their team to work around the software instead of the other way around. We replaced it entirely with a purpose-built CRM on Microsoft Power Platform, modelled precisely around how their sales team actually works: their terminology, their pipeline stages, their approval hierarchy, and their reporting needs.
Phase 02 — Extension
CRM extended into Project Management
Once a customer books a unit, the journey doesn't stop at the CRM. We extended the same platform seamlessly into a full project management module. When a deal is marked won, a project record is automatically created — no re-entry, no data loss. Construction milestones, material tracking, contractor schedules, and site updates flow directly from the same system that manages the sale.
Phase 03 — Customer Experience
Customer Portal with Identity & Access Management
Customers now have their own secure portal — built on OpenStack — where they can track their unit's construction progress in real time, view payment schedules, download documents, and raise service queries. Every customer gets a unique secure login managed through a full Identity & Access Management system. The portal talks directly to Dataverse in the backend — everything shown is live, never a manual update.
Phase 04 — People & Capability
Training App on the same platform
Staff onboarding and continuous training now runs on the same Microsoft-backed platform — no separate LMS, no additional vendor. The training app delivers role-specific modules, tracks completion, and issues digital certifications. Because it lives on the same Dataverse instance as the CRM and project system, managers can see team training status right alongside project performance — in one view.
